This is a pretty fitting meme as it just happened to me last week. I intentionally arrived 20 minutes early for a doctor's appointment, hoping to get a good 30-40 minutes of uninterrupted book time in.
Not only was my doctor on time, but she was ahead of schedule. I never even had a chance to open the book.
Sadly, this is not the only instance where a good book dictates my schedule. As I prepare for my day, I'm always on the lookout for those opportune moments to get some reading done. I've even gone so far as to reschedule other appointments when I'm at a really juicy point in a book and need the extra time to get through it fully.
I also relish the trip by plane so that I'm forced to get to the airport 2 hrs ahead of schedule and NEED to find a book to occupy my time. I also may be the only person who loves a long grocery line. I've definitely been able to put a way a few chapters waiting for my turn at the cash register.
Yes, I'm a little obsessed. I wholeheartedly admit it. If only there were more hours in the day.
Or, maybe I could just win the Mega Millions tomorrow and be able to quit my day job. That would really open up my schedule. Wish me luck!
Are you just as obsessed? Where do you find time to get some reading done?
Fun post and I'd say this meme fits me pretty well too. We traveled by train this past week and I loved that the 10 hour round trip allowed me so much uninterrupted reading time.
Great post, my mom says the same thing about the Mega Millions lottery as well. lol ;) I am also a little obsessed as well in reading books everywhere I go. Thank you so much for sharing your awesome post.
I do like reading when I'm waiting at the doctor's office, though I've found that I tend to read better when I'm there for someone else (parent, sister) and not waiting for my own turn. LOL I do try and bring a book wherever I go though - just in case!!

I always take a book with me since you never know when you have a chance to read!
I lost my job a month ago, but I used to love reading during my bus ride home! Now? I tend to read the most late at night :)
